Renkus-Heinz has led the field in beam steerable loudspeakers since the introduction of Iconyx in 2004.
This concept has been around since the ’60s, however todays advancements in DSP and amplifier technology, allow the theory to be realised in practical, cost-effective loudspeakers that are being used in the most demanding applications worldwide.
Beam Steering technology allows Iconyx, IC Live and IC2 loudspeakers to tightly control the sound and place it just where it’s needed – on the audience – while keeping it away from other surfaces that may cause echoes and reverberation.
Renkus-Heinz has taken the expertise learned over more than a decade of creating digitally steered line array technology, and scaled it to meet the needs of smaller, more intimate environments.
The DC12/2 is the first product in the Directivity Control Series. The ultra-compact, steerable array brings the clarity, intelligibility, and control of the ICONYX, to smaller but equally challenging spaces.
DC12/2 is a self-powered column line array with 12 full-range, two-inch drivers powered by twelve channels of SA Series amplification.
It is also the first digitally steerable array with control via a smartphone or tablet. Connect to an array via Wi-Fi and select between different directivity options to deliver consistent coverage.
ICONYX Compact puts the flexibility and directivity of ICONYX into a size that can disappear into any space.
The combination of 3-inch full-range drivers and a state-of-the-art 12 channel amplifier, along with its world leading experience in beam steerable arrays, leads to a performance never before seen in such a small array.
Full RHAON II beam-steering and modular flexibility make ICONYX Compact the ideal choice for tough acoustic environments where ICONYX Gen5 is too big. All without sacrificing the stellar audio quality that Renkus-Heinz ICONYX is known for.
Renkus-Heinz introduced the first ICONYX array nearly a decade ago, and have since refined and perfected the product to give you the ICONYX Gen5.
ICONYX Gen5 represents the latest in beam steering technology, integrating the power of advanced beam steering algorithms with the intuitive control of its new RHAON II system designer software.
The loudspeaker delivers more than 200% increase in speed of operations due to direct TCP/IP control, and new UniBeam technology provides an additional 3-6dB of output potential.
The -RD versions of ICONYX include Dual Redundant Dante connectivity, with audio transport and control over the same Dante network interface.
IC Live takes the control and flexibility of the Iconyx and scales it up to a higher output product.
This higher output means it’s ideally suited for live music and theatrical environments, as well as worship spaces with more contemporary programming.
The introduction of Generation 5 technology brings improved performance and speed of operation, while also increasing potential output and reducing cost.
The IC Live Gen5 -RD arrays include Dual Redundant Dante connectivity and control, allowing users to communicate with the devices over the network.
The ICLive X series brings a new level of flexibility for integrators, contractors, and production/rental houses alike to provide the best solution for any application.
The ICLive X series is a complete system, designed from the ground up, consisting of three freely combinable, steerable array modules – the ICLX, ICLXL, ICLLX and a matching subwoofer, the ICLX-118S.
New for the ICLive X series is Renkus-Heinz’s exclusive Acoustic Source Multiplier (ASM) waveguide. The ASM allows the HF section to be coaxially mounted in front of the LF section.
The array modules connect with a simple and nearly invisible, metal-to-metal array system.
