CoCon Discussion

CoCon Discussion contains all functionality that is required to run a conference system in a discussion-only situation. It is perfect for corporate board meetings and council meetings that do not require electronic voting or simultaneous interpretation.

CoCon Discussion consists of four parts:

  • CoCon Room Server – Takes care of all communication between the conference system and the CoCon software applications.
  • CoCon Room Configurator – Allows the user to create or edit the room layout or synoptic view.
  • CoCon Meeting Manager – Supports all administrative preparations prior to the actual meeting.
  • CoCon Operator Application – Used to control and operate the meetings.

Televic - CoCon Signage - Software

CoCon Signage

Cocon Signage is the display application within the CoCon Control suite. It operates as a plugin for CoCon Discussion, so the latter is required to run CoCon Signage.

CoCon Signage can be used to display information to the delegates in the room using large screens or projectors.

Through a wizard, CoCon Signage can be configured to show any or a combination of the following: Synoptic view of the room with microphone status, individual currently speaking, individual speech time, group speech time, and active agenda topic.

CoCon Voting

Cocon Voting adds voting management functionality to the CoCon management suite. When added to CoCon Discussion, this software unlocks a multitude of possibilities:

  • Agenda / Voting timer
  • Voting mode selection: 2, 3, 4 or 5 buttons
  • Selection of the active voting buttons
  • Define who can participate in the voting
  • Define who can see the overall result
  • Print the voting agenda
  • Vote indication
  • Vote weight

Televic - CoCon Authentication - Software

CoCon Authentication

The Authentication plugin-module for CoCon enables the use of badges for delegate identification purposes.

Before or during a meeting, delegates can identify themselves to the conference system by inserting their badges. A few delegate participation mechanisms are available, e.g., assigning delegates to a certain seat or allowing them to sit anywhere and choose a seat in the conference room.

  • Writing of badges.
  • Reading of badges.
  • Creation of authority badges.
  • Users identify themselves to the system using their badge, and more.

CoCon Import / Export

CoCon Import/Export adds the possibility to the CoCon Conference Control Software Suite to import and export meeting data. Importing is available from Word and XML. Allow tight integration with your meeting-preparation flow:

  • Prepare your meeting in a Word template and import it straight into the Meeting Manager.
  • Use your own meeting preparation tool, export the agenda to XML and import it directly into CoCon.
  • Import files can contain both the agenda as well as the delegate list.

Export to Word, XML and print. Save your valuable meeting data in digital format. Choose which data you want to export with a simple wizard and select how you want to export it.

CoCon Document Management

CoCon Document Management is a software component within the CoCon Conference Control Software Suite to be used with the uniCOS Multimedia Conference System.

It allows to manage the documents that delegates can browse and consult during a meeting. Make working with documents easy:

  • Upload PDF files.
  • Edit files attributes (name, language, etc.).
  • Delete documents.

CoCon Messaging

CoCon Messaging and Services is a software license within the CoCon Conference Control Software Suite that activates additional functionality on the uniCOS multimedia conference system.

Messaging – The messaging functionality makes it possible for delegates to type short text messages via an on-screen keyboard and send them to other delegates or groups of delegates.

Services – The services tab on the uniCOS delegate unit allows the user to request any service as defined via the CoCon software. Without having to leave their seats and disturb the meeting, delegates can ask for coffee, a pen, paper, or any other kind of service that has been set up in the software.

CoCon Interpretation

CoCon Interpretation allows you to configure the language channels in the Plixus system, used for simultaneous interpretation. The Interpretation module is designed to work with the Lingua interpreter desks.

It allows you to configure the Lingua Interpreter Desk settings. It also allows you to select the channels and modify the display text on channel selectors, as well as choose audio routing for each channel, external audio routing, a specific booth or even a disabled channel.

Additionally, relays and B/C channels can be defined. Finally, all booth activity can be monitored from the CoCon Interpretation module.

CoCon Audio Routing

CoCon Audio Routing allows you to configure the audio routing options. It provides a detailed and effortless configuration of inputs and outputs, visualised by a matrix. This includes a number of different options, including creating groups of audio input and output components and controlling the audio routing matrix.

All of the audio settings at any one time are defined as an audio configuration. This can include, a set of audio routing input / output groups and a matrix resulting from the previous two datasets, and the settings of this matrix.

CoCon Video Routing

CoCon Video Routing allows you to configure the video input/output devices in the Televic Plixus network. These include V-IN Box, webcam units (including T-Cam), SDI on Plixus MME, V-OUT Box, Lingua ID-MM, and uniCOS. It includes the following options:

  • The possibility to assign video input devices to the requested group.
  • Assign webcam units to the talking head group.
  • Assign video input devices on a specific video stream.
  • Visualise the inputs or input groups and assign them to a specific video stream.
  • Configure which video streams are available on video channel selectors.
  • and more.
