Expanding Horizons: G3 Events Joins the UK Outline Family

Situated in Chester, located in the northwestern part of England, G3 Events specialize in organizing corporate functions, spanning from team-building activities to audiovisual and production services. Notably, they have recently introduced a selection of Outline products to their collection of audio resources.

Joe Cross is Operations Manager for G3 Events and he takes up the story:
“We noticed we were hiring a lot to do the larger conferences, so it made sense to look at adding suitable equipment to our own stock. Outline were recommended and a colleague put me in touch with James (Lawford of CUK Group) and he has been great. Really helpful with all of our questions, arranged the demos for us and happily came in to train the team on the setup. He’s a genuine guy that obviously loves what he’s doing!”

G3’s initial acquisition consists of eight Outline Vegas 12 CX full-range co-axial passive loudspeakers and two Outline SUB 118 subwoofers. These are powered by two Powersoft T604 DSP+Dante amplifiers. The setup offers the flexibility to function as a unified system or to be divided into two setups as required. The primary emphasis for the company lies in the convenience of deploying equipment iterations seamlessly, achieved through the use of snapshots or preset recall accessible from the amplifier’s front interface. Additionally, the incorporation of Outline presets within the amplifiers guarantees the security and high reliability of the speakers, a critical advantage in the realm of corporate engagements. Furthermore, the availability of Outline’s Open Array 3D simulation software serves as a significant advantage, enabling the verification and tailored design of speaker systems for specific room configurations.

James Lawford added, “G3 is a well-established company, but their AV equipment requirements have only recently increased, hence their investment with us. I think they were a little shocked when they realised what good value Outline products represent, as their performance matches and even exceeds other top-name loudspeakers they have rented in the past.”

Joe concludes, “As soon as the team heard the speakers they loved them, they seem really well built with handles in very convenient places to carry and lift up onto a speaker stand. Being used in a corporate environment they also need to look good as well as sound good and they tick all the boxes.”
