Fingal County Council is the authority responsible for local government in the county of Fingal, Ireland. Fingal covers over 452 km² and with a population of over 274,000 is the 2nd most populous county in its state.
The council had increased councillor numbers from 24 to 40 elected members, which required an increase in the capacity of their council chamber’s conferencing and AV needs. The Council Chamber was in need of a new moderated discussion system with electronic voting and state-of-the-art Audio Visual facilities. As a result, a decision was made to replace the Council’s current system.
The Council Chamber was in need of a new moderated discussion system with electronic voting and state of the art Audio Visual facilities. As a result, a decision was made to replace the Council’s current system.
The Council decided they needed a system that embraced recent digital developments within the sector and came up with a list of additional features they required. They turned to Nuway, a Televic Partner, to guide the process of arriving at a satisfactory conference setup.
Nuway opted for Televic since the tight deadlines and entirely custom setup for the County Council required a partner with significant expertise & experience. The installation consisted of bespoke, custom made, flush mount wired and wireless delegate units. In just 12 weeks from design to delivery to the site in Ireland, Televic finished the entire installation with Nuway. Nuway stressed that Televic was chosen because the system combined high build quality and feature rich specifications.
