AV distributor CUK Group has signed a deal to distribute exclusively the Erard Pro range of AV support furniture to residential and commercial integrators in the UK and Ireland.
Erard Pro, a long-established company based in Lyon, France, with a history spanning over six decades, specializes in the design and production of support furniture for audiovisual equipment used in both commercial and residential settings. Renowned for its commitment to innovation, Erard Pro offers a diverse range of standard solutions, encompassing mounts for various screen types, screen enclosures, totems/kiosks, projector mounts, mobile carts, projection screens, and discreet connection systems to ensure seamless integration.
The company has also gained a strong reputation for its customized solutions, leveraging the expertise and creativity of its in-house R&D team to craft tailored products for its commercial and residential clients. Notably, Erard Pro’s manufacturing for professional applications is entirely based in France, ensuring prompt project fulfillment while employing innovative materials like recycled aluminum and steel to maintain an eco-friendly production process.
Highlighted within Erard Pro’s product lineup is the ‘Do-iT’ range of TV mounts, which stands out for its practicality and durability. Designed for effortless, single-person installation, this range includes ‘FIXiT’ ultra-thin fixed wall mounts and ‘TILTiT’ tilting wall mounts (with a 25° tilt) that position the screen just 16mm from the wall surface. Furthermore, the ‘TWISTiT‘ tilting and swiveling wall mounts (with a 25° tilt and 180° swivel) come equipped with an integrated spirit level and off-center spacers for precise horizontality adjustments after drilling. Once the TV is in place, it can be easily released using a convenient pull cord stored behind the screen to prevent unwanted tampering.
Within the same range, the BOXiT model offers added convenience with its integrated ‘pop-out’ rack for AV devices like STBs/Sky Q, discreetly sliding out from behind the screen, simplifying access to devices and connections.
Additionally, Erard Pro presents the STANDiT design, an elegant and height-adjustable mount cleverly designed to sit flush with the wall, aided by an adjustable stabilizing pad, eliminating the need for drilling. This option is particularly suitable for situations where drilling is undesirable or impractical, such as glass partitions.
Erard Pro’s time-saving designs ensure that multiple installations can be efficiently and securely completed by a single person in a fraction of the time required by more traditional mounting solutions, according to the manufacturer.
For mobile applications, Erard Pro introduces its latest product line, the KANA floor stand. Designed to meet versatile needs in home, business, and public spaces, it includes accessories like a bracket for peripheral devices, a soundbar mount, and a tempered glass shelf. The supporting pole can be finished in chrome or wood to complement the environment, and KANA features large multidirectional caster wheels for easy mobility on various floor surfaces, including parquet and wooden floors. Alternatively, it can function as a fixed stand using height-adjustable feet.
