Inconsistent coverage. Level build-ups where you don’t want them. Areas that just don’t translate. That’s rarely down to the product — it’s almost always in the design. More often than not, it comes back to speaker placement not being properly worked through upfront.
Even the best systems won’t recover from that. Get the placement right, and everything else follows.
EASE (Enhanced Acoustic Simulator for Engineers) is a software tool used to model how sound behaves in a space—so decisions can be made upfront, rather than on site.
It allows you to map:
Instead of relying on rules of thumb or what worked last time, it gives you a clearer, data-backed starting point—and something you can share visually with clients.

On projects like the 12th Knot rooftop bar at Sea Containers, this approach was critical. Working alongside Tateside, we used EASE Design to model the space upfront—helping validate loudspeaker placement, optimise coverage across a complex, multi-use venue, and ensure the system would perform without compromising the bar’s carefully curated aesthetic. The final system combined 1 Sound loudspeakers with Powersoft amplification, specified and optimised through the design process.
For Tateside, that meant going into install with more certainty on a high-value project. For the client, it resulted in a system that delivers consistently across the space, while integrating cleanly into the environment. Read the full project story here.

For integrators, this kind of upfront modelling can make a noticeable difference:
Less reliance on assumptions, fewer unknowns going into install.
Visuals and predicted performance help explain decisions more effectively.
Fewer surprises once the system is in.
Better coverage, fewer issues to resolve later.
Not every project has the time or headspace for detailed modelling—and not every team is using tools like EASE day-to-day. That’s where we can support. We work alongside integrators to:
At CUK Group, we’re there to support you in getting the best possible outcome for each project—not just supplying products, but helping you design with more certainty from the start.
Whether it’s a bar, retail space, house of worship, education, or corporate install—we’ll help you get it right, before you get on site.
Want help with your next project? If you’ve got something coming up, make sure you get in touch, we can help you map it out, specify it properly, and make sure it performs as expected.
