Powersoft has officially launched Nota, an ultra-compact PoE/PoE+ amplifier designed to offer AV integrators a powerful yet space-saving solution for networked audio environments. The new amplifier, revealed at ISE 2025 in Barcelona by Powersoft co-founder and R&D director Claudio Lastrucci, delivers 140W across two channels, making it an ideal fit for commercial, conferencing, and retrofit installations.
With the ability to transmit power and data via a single Ethernet connection, Nota simplifies installation, reducing costs and cabling complexity. Designed to integrate seamlessly into existing networked audio infrastructures, it offers on-board DSP processing, speaker health monitoring, and full control via Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus software and third-party APIs. Its USB-C connectivity allows integration with multimedia devices and functions as a USB-to-AES67 converter, enhancing flexibility. Automated setup optimizes power transfer and protects speakers by adjusting impedance curves and applying a high-pass filter.
Nota is plenum-rated for mounting in enclosed spaces and comes with a kit for versatile installation on flat surfaces, poles, and DIN rails. Remote monitoring via Powersoft’s Verso gateway and MyUniverso software provides real-time diagnostics from anywhere, ensuring efficient system management.
