SIM2 has launched the Ultra Nero, a high-performance home cinema projector designed to meet the growing demand for larger screens and brighter images. Delivering 7,000 lumens of brightness and advanced HDR processing, it features a new laser light source, high-precision ceramic components for improved heat management and color performance, and upgraded optics.
SIM2 launches the all new Ultra Nero to meet the increasing demands of modern home cinemas, by delivering the high brightness (7,000 lumens) and HDR processing needed to address the demand for larger and larger screens.
Benefiting from over 3 decades of experience and SIM2’s position at the cutting edge of projector design and image processing in the home theatre market – the Ultra Nero does more than just shine bright.
The all new Ultra Nero deploys an all new laser light source, state of the art ceramic componentry. Deploying high precision ceramic parts dissipate heat more efficiently allowing the phosphors to work at a lower temperature than can be achieved in a normal projector, thus resulting in even better colourimetry.
The Ultra Nero is further enhances with the deployment of all new optics, while also benefiting from SIM2’s outstanding HDR processing capabilities. In addition the Ultra Nero deploys SIM2’s “Perfect Fit” technology facilitating an easy switch between 16:9 and 2.35:1 formats.
Connectivity on the Ultra Nero is via 2 x HDMI and 1 x HD Base-T with control system integration via LAN, RS-232, or IR.
As the market has come to expect – all of this is combined into a small (485 x 180 x 430mm) package and weighing in at a mere 14.5kg – keeping the Ultra Nero as a one person install.
